What does it mean to be part of a patient union? How can patient solidarity unions like the TPU mobilize to advocate for better care in clinics and ensure that patients have greater collective power when accessing health care?

In this workshop, TPU members will cover the basics of patient unionization, how it works, what it can offer, and the advocacy projects the TPU has successfully carried out using this model, including its ongoing efforts to improve access to and the quality of gender-affirming surgery in Quebec.
