Power & Consent Fest

In our movements and communities, in our queer spaces and relationships, in prisons and assisted-living facilities, in schools, in technology, and in most cultures around the world, exercising power over another person is often habitual, while violating people’s will and/or bodies is routine.

On August 1, join us as we reflect on how power shapes our lives and imagine more consensual, accountable, and liberatory ways of relating.

Connect with tablers discussing power and consent in relation to prisons, disability, and more; choose a reflective or playful activity; pick up resources; or participate in a workshop or circle, to be announced, exploring these issues through holistic and Indigenous perspectives. Free food will also be available.
